Ok, I'm back. I wanted to share my entries for 2 different challenges.
This first one is for the Midweek Throwdown challenge at OWH Stars and Stamps, which is being sponsored by Michelle Perkett this week, so the challenge is to create a card for OWH using a Michelle Perkett image.
I chose to use Leilani for my card. I colored her skin with a Copic and the rest of the image with Marvy markers. (I only have the skin tone Copics, but it's a start.) The frame is from InStyle Stamps and is also colored with Markers. I used a Stampin Up ink pad sponged some blue on the background, then I cut out Leilani and pasted her on top. I cut out the sentiment and pasted it in the corner.
This next one is for a challenge on The Stamping Boutique PCP page. The challenge for this week is to make your own sketch and then create a project with it.
Here is the sketch I came up with.
Here is the card I made with the sketch. I used one of the new Martryoshka Dolls from The Stamping Boutique. I colored the image with Marvy markers. The DP is Stampin Up. The Sentiment is Simon Says Stamp.
Here is a close up of the doll.
Thanks for taking a look. Have a great day.

This card is soooo cute! I love the 2'nd one the best--the matryoshka doll. I have a cut file I made of 4 of them--so I think I am just partial to them!

So pretty Rhonda both of them! Very vivid colors...for not having copics, you do a marvelous job of coloring which goes to show...you don't always need the copics! I love the frame in the first card as well. Hope your weekend has been great. :)
HUGS!
