Creations by AR Mother's Day Customer Blog Hop

Good morning!  Welcome to my stop on the Creations by AR Mother's Day Customer Blog Hop.  If you've come here from Lenoria's blog you are in the right place, if not hop over to Lisa's Blog to start at the beginning.

One hopper will win a template of their choice from the Creations by AR shop so be sure to visit all the blogs and leave a comment, you never know which blog will have the winning comment.  When you've finished hopping through all the blogs, be sure to visit the Creations by AR Facebook page like them and leave a comment there.  You have until Saturday, May 11 to leave your comments and the winner will be announced on the Creations by AR blog and Facebook page.

The theme for our hop is "Mom's favorite color", my mom's favorite color is blue, so here is what I have done.

I used the 3D Fireplace Card template and printed it on blue cardstock.  The logs and flames are part of the template, I colored them with Bic Markits.  I used a Martha Stewart punch to decorate the front of the fireplace.  The sentiment is computer generated.  The vase and flower are from the Pagoda and Picturesque Cricut carts.  The gems are from my stash.

For the back I added a sentiment from Raindrop Echo designs.

The nice thing about the 3D Fireplace Card is that it can fold to fit into a regular A2 envelope for easy mailing.

Here's the hop list in case you get lost...

Thanks for visiting, don't forget to leave a comment for your chance to win your choice of a template from the Creations by AR shop.  From here you continue on to Carmen's blog.

Hello!  Sorry my post for today is so late.  It's just been crazy around here.  Hubby was in the hospital most of last week and we're just trying to get back on schedule here.

Today is my turn to share on the Getting Cricky blog and I have a couple of ATCs to share.

For this one I used a stencil from Bazzill Basics for the bird, then used some DMC floss for the sewing.  The DP is from my stash (but I think it's from an Amy Tangerine paper pad) and the sentiment is from the Positive Thoughts stamp set from K. Andrew Designs.  The pearl is from my stash.

For this one, the DP is also from my stash from the same paper pad as the top card.  The chipboard butterfly is from the $1.50 bin at Michael's.  The gems are from my stash.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set as the other card.

Doodling

Hello everyone!  Are you all ready for the weekend?  I know I am.  Today starts Spring Break for my kids, so I'll be having fun all week.

I wanted to pop in and share a doodle I worked on over the weekend.

My daughter cut out some egg shapes with the Cricut and I just traced one of them 3 times for my doodle areas.  I drew some lines and added some fun doodling.  I had fun trying some new ones I hadn't done before.  I did the whole things using a micron pencil and haven't decided if I'll go back over it in pen.  I kind of like the pencil look.

I'll share some of the eggs we doodled on later, as soon as I find them.  Lol, the kids keep moving things around on me.
