A fun birthday card

Hi everyone!  I wanted to share a birthday card I made over the weekend.  I had a party on Saturday and didn't want to show up empty handed, so this is what I came up with.  The guy I made this for just turned 18 and has down syndrome.  He LOVES cars.  He was so excited when he saw the truck on the front.

This vintage truck image is from DZ Doodles and was a freebie on PCP for a Father's Day challenge they have going on.  (I'm still working on the Father's Day card.)  The DP, button and floss are from my stash.  I forgot I had this paper and thought it was perfect for masculine cards.  I don't have many papers like that in my stash.  Time to restock, I think.

Thanks for taking a look.

~Rhonda

P.S. Don't forget to check out the challenges going on at The Latte Lounge.  There is a Summer Song Inspriation challenge and a Father's Day challenge both going on right now (check under the challenges tab).  There are also some great conversations going, so be sure to check it out.
