I would also like to wish my little girl a Happy 6th Birthday. Yep, she was born on Mother's Day 6 years ago and this year her day falls on the holiday again. She's excited.
Here she is after her party last night with her new MP3 player.
And here she is in her new birthday outfit from grandma.
We are also celebrating another big milestone in our family. My little girl has been cancer free for 1 year as of yesterday. It's been a long hard almost 2 year journey, that continues with monitoring and scans, but the cancer has not come back and we are very thankful for that. She has been a real trooper through it.
Here she is just before they took her back to surgery to remove her eye. What a difficult morning it was.
Here she is right after the surgery. She needed her daddy to make her feel better. None of this slowed her down. By bed time that night she was up and in to everything. She is such a trooper.
And here she is 1 year later as mischieveous as always. She has not slowed down one little bit. We are so proud of her.
Thanks for stopping by, have a great Mother's Day.
