Ok, on to my projects. I just love the idea of recycling things in my crafting. For this first one I used a CD that my little girl got a hold of and ruined. Instead of throwing it away, I put it to better use. I made this wall hanging.
I used scraps of papers and ribbons on this project. I hate for those to go to waste also. The image is colored with Marvy marker and a gold marker I have. The brads and flowers are from my stash. The ribbon came from Wal Mart and are pieces left over from other projects. I think it will make a nice decoration for the wall in my girls' room.
Next, I have an empty container from some Crystal Light drink mix. I thought it would make a nice gift container, pencil box or penny bank for someone.
Again, I used scraps left over from other projects. I took the original paper off and then covered it with the DP. The butterflies are colored with Marvy markers.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you are being inspired to find way to repurpose items you have in your house. Your next stop on the hop is my very own 9 year old daughter Abby, who has a great project to share with you.

Great job Rhonda, Cd's i think are underused when it comes to crafts, especially those freebies inviting us to sign up with them for internet use, don't see so many of those now. Just goes to show what great things can come from things heading to the bin :)
Both gorgeous project Rhonda, love them both and I just love the colours you've used
