Breast Cancer Awareness Blog Hop

*** Sorry, I've been having issues with blogger today and have been in and out with a busy day. ***

Welcome to our 1st annual Breast Cancer Awareness Blog Hop. We are so glad that you have decided to join us for this very important cause.  According to the National Breast Cancer Foundation 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. And since there is currently no cure, early detection is crucial. You can do this by having yearly mammograms, yearly clinical breast exams, and regular self-breast exams.
We have some FABULOUS sponsors for this hop!!!!! You MUST leave a comment on each blog in the hop to be eligible for any and all prizes.
Also, for all prizes you wish to be considered for, you MUST visit their FB pages and/or blogs, LIKE & FOLLOW, and leave a comment on FB. So, if you want to be eligible for ALL the prizes, (I know I would!) You have a bit of work to do, but I promise, it will be worth it!!!

For my card I used the Smoochie Angel image from The Stamping Boutique. I colored the image with Bic Markits and Copics and added some glitter to the wings and some clear star gel pen to the wings and halo. The DP is DCWV and the doily and bling are from my stash. The sentiment is from K. Andrew Designs.

Here's a closer look at the image and sentiment.

I wanted to be a part of this blog hop because my grandmother in law and one of the teachers in our local elementary school were breast cancer survivors, and more recently one of the girls I went to school with and one of my blog friends have been fighting their own battle with breast cancer.  I wanted to show my support for them and all women going through this.  It's so important to get your mammos and do your self exams.

If you would like to make a donation to the cause, you can go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure or the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.
Now it's time for you to go to Jennifer.
Thanks for hopping with us!

since I don't have FB, I won't be able to qualify for any prizes, but this is such a great idea for a blog hop. always does my heart good to hear a story (or several!) of people who are surviving this horrible disease. thank you!

This is my first visit to your blog and I fell in love with it at its first sight. The cards are beautiful and I love the small angle on the card.
I have come to this blog when I was searching about breast cancer awareness.
I wanted to say something about breast cancer so that women get to know at least symptoms of it. Breast cancer is a type of cancer which happen mostly in women around breast part.
Symptoms are
1. swelling of all or part of the breast
2. skin irritation or dimpling
3. breast pain
4. nipple pain or the nipple turning inward
5. redness, scaliness, or thickening of the nipple or breast skin
6. a nipple discharge other than breast milk
7. a lump in the underarm area.

Hope my reply was useful.:)
