Fun with my Kids

Hello!!  I just wanted to share the fun event I took my kids to last night.  One of my favorite authors, Richard Paul Evans, is celebrating the release of Book 2 of his Michael Vey series and had a big launch party last night.  It was so much fun.  My kids had a blast.

Here are some pics from the night...

A picture of my kids and me on the book cover.

The rat floor as you walked into the room.  My kids LOVED this.

Here you get to find out which character from the book you are.

 Playing with the plasma ball.

Posing with 'Michael Vey', the main character of the book.

My son was thrilled he got to hold the rat.  My little girl would touch, but would not hold it.

The mechanical bull was fun to watch.  All my kids, except the oldest had a go.

Me with Richard Paul Evan.

It was a fabulous night and now I can't wait to read the book.  If you haven't heard of Michael Vey, you should read it.  It's great for people of all ages.  I had a hard time putting the first book down and I think the second will be just as good.

Thanks for visiting.  Have a great day.

Looks like you guys had a great time! I hadn't heard of these books at all but a perusal over at Amazon tells me that I'll want to look into them more when Boy's a bit older. How did you find out about the release party- very cool!

Sounds like you and the kids had a blast! My husband and I took some time out this weekend and visiting the Spam Museum, I posted some pics on my blog just a little while ago! Making time for fun really does wonders. Hugs, Karne

What a wonderful adventure - I love the photos of the children! I am not familiar with this series but have read The Christmas Box, The Letter and Road to Grace. I see you continue to create lovely projects - love the ATCs! Wishing you happiness today!
