Happy Birthday

Hello!!  July is a hectic month for our family with many birthdays.  It seems like every time we turn around this month there is another birthday to celebrate.  It keeps us pretty busy.  Lol.

My mom and niece both celebrated their birthday on Saturday.  I'll share their cards with you after I show you a little how we celebrated.

I'm sure many of you have heard of the Osmond family.  Well, Merrill Osmond created this Youth Pioneer Pageant and all the proceeds go to the Olive Osmond Hearing Fund, which helps provide hearing aids to children who cannot afford.  The skydiver was part of the pre-show.

My niece and a little boy were two of the recipients of these hearing aids Saturday.  They were brought up on stage and introduced to everyone.  Since it was her birthday they had the whole audience sing to her.  It was great.

The show was amazing.  It was about the struggles the Utah pioneers faced on their journey West.  Since it takes place over the Pioneer Day weekend.

There were a lot of fireworks.  The best display I think I've ever seen.

Now, on to the cards...

This is the card I made for my mom.  I just love this Sitting Peacock from Doodle Pantry.  I colored the image with BIC Markits.  I bought the glitter paper at JoAnn.  The flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts.

Challenges...
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Crafts and Me - Anything Goes
Make it Monday - Anything Goes

For my niece I used a Little Mermaid stamp I bought at JoAnn.  The rock she's sitting on and the DP is from Amber Ink.  I colored both images with BIC Markits.  The sentiment is Stampin Up.

Challenges...
Paper Pretties - Birthday Cards
My Time to Craft - Make It Wet
Cupcake Craft - The Ocean
The Crazy Challenge - Under the Sea/Beside the Sea

Thanks for looking.  Have a great day.
