Mail Art and a card

Hello!  Have you heard of Mail Art?  Well, I'm part of a Smash*aholics group on Facebook and we like to swap things like postcards and crafting goodies and the newest thing is Mail Art.  I had never heard of it until now and was quite intrigued.  So, I thought I'd give it a try.  The idea is to make decorative envelope to send to someone, you can use DP, stamps, drawings, etc...  There's no rules, except, of course, have fun.

Here is the first one I've done.  I'll be sharing more over the next few days.

Here is the front of my envelope, before I add the recipients information.  I decided to try a little bit of tangling on this.  I like how it turned out.

Here is the back.  Since it's for one of my Smashy friends and the idea is to add it to our Smash* books, I thought I'd do a little alphabet art.

Here is the card I made to send inside the envelope.  Again, I just did a few tangles and added it to a card front with an embossed swirl background.

Thanks for looking.  Have a great day.
