The Crafter's Cafe December Kids Challenge

Hello!!  We just started a new challenge for the kids at The Crafter's Cafe for December.  This month we would love to see all their Christmas creations.

Here's a card Abby made for some inspiration...

You can find all the details of her card on her blog.

Here are a couple of Christmas cards I've made...

For the first one I made a treat box card.  I used Tinkles the elf from Make it Crafty on my card.  I colored the image with BIC Markits.  The DP is from The Paper Studio.

Here's a little closer look at the image.

I am entering this in the following challenges...
Simon Says Stamp-Anything Goes
Stamp, Scrap and Doodle-Make a Holiday Card
For Fun Challenges-Christmas

For this card I used the DP as the main focus.  I used a sentiment stamp from Stampin' Up and embossed it with white embossing powder to make it stand out a little.  I think the DP is from K&Co.  I just loved the tree in the corner and didn't want to cover it up.

Thanks for looking.  Have a great day.

Hi Rhonda,

I don't know why I never thought to use white embossing powder to make sentiments stand out on a dark background. Seems pretty natural, but I just didn't think to do it. Thanks for showing how good it can look!

Glad you liked the stationary set I made. I appreciate your comments.

Great creations. I admit I sometimes love to just make cards from pretty DP too. It's true that sometimes they are too nice to cover up or change.

Thanks for joining us at For Fun Challenges.
