A simple card and ......... Blog Candy

Hello!!  I wanted to share a really simple card I made the other day.  I was thinking of a card to make for kids and found some fun paper in the DCWV Playtime stack.  When I got the paper on my card to use as a background, I decided it could stand on it's own and didn't add anything.  So, here is my card...

Isn't that just a fun little scene all by itself?  I love it.

Now, onto the real reason we're all here.  Lol.  I happened to glance at my followers list the other day and realized that I now have over 200 followers.  So, I thought I would celebrate with some blog candy.  Yay.

Included in the package are:
2 pks of dimensional stickers by Darice
A Christmas greeting stamp set w/bling by Scrappy Cat
3 pks of Christmas stickers from Sandylion Essentials
A Christmas background stamp from Studio G
A pkg of snowflake rhinestones
3 spools of Martha Stewart bakers twin in red, green and brown
and any other little goodies I might find to add in...

Here are some closer looks at what you will get.

So, what do you have to do to be in to win?  Just simply leave a comment on this post telling me on of your favorite holiday traditions.  For extra chances post a pic of the candy in your sidebar with a link back here to my blog and become a follower.  Leave a separate comment for each item you complete.  I will leave the candy open until Nov. 17 and choose a winner on Nov. 18.

Thanks for looking.  Have a great day.

~Rhonda

Hello!
You are right, the paper is so cute that your card doesn´t need to much!
One tradition is to have a Christmas scene, every year to get a new one (if possible) to add to my collection and tell the story while we are puting all the characters.
Thanks for the chance with the candy!

Love your cute card. One tradition we have in my family is after Thanksgiving we go cut down a Christmas tree for Nana (that's me). I love having the grandkids try to choose the perfect one. Thanks for a chance to win.

Rhonda!
Sometimes I look at all the pretty papers we have and you're right, they don't need anything to make a great card... perfectly simple!!

Christmas Tradition: my favorite project is unpacking the Christmas Tree Ornaments. Every year, we get the kids one that has the year printed on it, and every year, we look back through the years, through our ornaments. Lots of smiles and thoughts of years past!

Posting your candy in my sidebar!!
Thanks for a chance to win!!

You asked about our favorite Christmas Tradition: I live in Puerto Rico, during Christmas, family and friends gather at celebrations called "Parrandas" and we sing, dance and of course eat. Usually late ate night, we begin visiting the family members that couldn't join us and we keep the singing and dancing all night long.

We have a big family so we always have a ton of places to go. Our one tradition for just our little family of 4 is that we all cuddle on the couch watching a Christmas movie on Christmas eve before the kids go to bed and then Santa comes. Its so nice to get the cuddles while they are still little.
