TCC September Digi Day Challenges

Hello!!  We had fun last night at our Digi Day party.  We met the new DT gals and the new Kids DT.  We had some fun games and lots of fun conversation.  There were also 3 challenges to go along with the night that will run until Sat. Sept 17.  So if you missed the party, you can still play along for a chance to win some prizes.

This first challenge theme was Celebration, it can be for any kind of celebration you can think of....

I went with Halloween for my celebration.  I used the new Medusa image from The Stamping Boutique.  I colored the image with BIC Markits.  The DP is from Jak Heath and is the set she's using to earn money for fellow card maker Katie.  The sentiment is from Sassy Studio.

The next challenge was Black and Tag with a Splash of You color challenge.  Use Black and Tan plus a color the represents you....

For this challenge I used the Fairy and Butterfly image from The Stamping Boutique.  I just love this image.  The DP is a freebie I got from the Cardmaking and Papercraft site.  The lace and gems are from my stash.

The last challenge was a sketch challenge...

Here is my take of the sketch.  I used the boat image from the Beach set at The Stamping Boutique.  The DP is another freebie from Cardmaking and Papercraft.  The sentiment is from Tickell Expressions and the dolphin embellies came from JoAnn.

Be sure to hop over to the Digi Day group and check out these challenges and see all the inspiration.  I can't wait to see what you all make.

I also wanted to remind you of the Monthly Progressive Challenge for September.  The theme for the first 2 weeks of the challenge is to create a Happy Birthday card.

Here's a card I made as inspiration.  I used the owl image from The Stamping Boutique.  I colored the image with BIC Markits.  The DP is from Cardmaking and Papercraft.  I embossed some blue cs for the background.  The sentiment is from Pink Cat Studio and the heart glam rocks are from Imaginisce.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great day.
