MPS Full Moon Forever Blog Hop

Good morning!  Welcome to the Michelle Perkett Studio Full Moon Forever Blog Hop.  If you arrived here from Elenor's blog you are in the right spot, if not then you'll want to hop over to Michelle's blog to start at the beginning.  Make sure to visit each of the blogs and leave a comment and don't forget to say Trick or Treat for your chance to win some great prizes.

The theme of the blog hop is Halloween, but since not everyone celebrates Halloween, we are supposed to share our tradition for this time of year.

Of course being Halloween, the kids all get dressed up in their costumes and we go trick or treating, or in our area we actually do trunk or treating.  A bunch of us gather in a parking lot and hand out candy from the backs of our cars.  A little safer for the kids.  Then we go visit some friends and family before coming home to check out the candy and put the little monsters to bed.  About a week ago I also took the kids to a local historical grist mill for the annual Pumpkin Walk.  They had so much fun doing all kinds of fall activities.

So, to help you get into the Halloween mood here are a couple of projects I have come up with.

I decided to make a mini pizza box and a free standing pop-up card as a fun treat for someone.

For the card I used Candy the Sweet Halloween Witch from Michelle Perkett Studio.  Isn't she fun.  I colored the image with Marvy markers.  The DP is Making Memories, the ribbon and flowers are from my stash.  The dots at the top are from Imaginisce.

For the pizza box I used the Happy Halloween word art from Michelle Perkett.  I colored it with Marvy markers.  The DP is Making memories and the ribbon is from my stash.

I hope you like what you see.  Now be sure to hop on over to my daughter Abby's blog and see the fun card she has made to share with you and don't forget to leave some love on all the blogs and say Trick or Treat.

Trick or Treat Rhonda! I love the pop up card that you did. Saw a tutorial for it once but have never made one. After seeing your card I think I might have to lol. Your little pizza box is really cute...but not nearly big enough for the amount of pizza I like lol. Have a great day and good luck! ~ Charlene

Rhonda, how clever of you to make a pizza box decoration. I just love this idea. This is a great idea for those of us that have adult children and still want to have something fun for the day. TRICK OR TREAT.

Wow Rhonda... this is such a fantastic project you've shared! I love the idea of a mini pizza box! It's the right size for many of my gifties, but I've never come across a template for one. If you could point me in the right direction for a template, I'd be most grateful! Thanks for sharing your Halloween celebration story, too!

Great project-it's going to be a great treat for someone! Thanks for sharing!
I love the way you let the kids trick or treat-it really is getting hard to let them go from door to door these days. It's wonderful how the schools and churches are trying to do things to make a safe Halloween for kids, too!
