Michelle Perkett Studio Challenge

Hello everyone, today starts the first challenge on the Michelle Perkett Studio Inspiration and Challenge blog.  We're all excited to have this blog for our challenges and hope you all would like to play along.  The theme of this weeks challenge is Be Inspired we are to go to Michelle's etsy store and choose one of her works of art as our inspiration.

Here is what I came up with.  I used this card as my inspiration.  The image is Enchanted Slumber and is, of course, from Michelle Perkett.  It is one of my favorite images, isn't it soooo sweet.  I tried to match the colors on the card as much as I could.  I colored the image with Marvy markers.  The DP is from Cosmo Cricket.  The ribbon is from Stampin Up.  I punched out the oval with my SU small oval punch and wrote Mother in it then I inked the edges with SU Ruby Red ink pad.

I hope you'll be inspired to join us in this weeks challenge.  Thanks for stopping by.  Have a nice day.

Great image, and great coloring... I love the DP and your handwritten sentiment is great. My handwriting always looks so sloppy.
