Happy Birthday Dad and Shay
Today we are celebrating 2 birthday's in our family, my dad and my niece Shay. What fun. To celebrate I thought I would share with you the cards I made for them.
This first card is the one I made for dad. I love this monkey image from Dustin Pike. My dad spends a lot of time on his computer, so I thought this image was perfect. For the background I used my happy birthday cuttlebug folder to emboss the cardstock. The ribbon was a Christmas gift. I'm not sure where I got the paper, it was just in my stash. I think he'll like it. I colored the image with BIC Markits.
This next one is for my niece Shay. She's turning 2 today. I love this cute image from Inkegrity. I colored the image with BIC Markits and Sharpies. I again embossed the cs with the happy birthday cuttlebug folder. The DP is from Heidi Grace Designs by Fiskars. The brads came from Wal Mart. Isn't it perfect for a little one?

Rhonda, both of these cards are so dang cute! I love the mouse one though--it's just adorable! the embossed backgrounds just really pop!
