New cards to share

Sorry I kind of flaked yesterday.  My son had a apt. to get new hearing aids and we spent the day braking them in and doing grocery shopping for the month.  He was so excited about his new hearing aids and kept letting everyone we saw know about it.  They are blue and that added to his excitement.  They also gave him a stuffed otter doll that wears hearing aids and he hasn't put the thing down.  It's too cute.  He's worn hearing aids for 5 years and I've never seen him this excited about them.  He's a cutie.

Now onto the cards.  I wanted to share a couple of cards I made using these wonderful images from Michelle Perkett.  She is so talented and I just love her images.

This first one is called Enchanted slumber.  I just love the sweet image of the mother holding the baby close to her.  This card was done for the current challenge going on over on Michelle's PCP group.  We were to make a project that portrays YOU as a creative Godess.  We each chose one of Michelle's images that portrayed our inner Godess and created our projects with it.  I just love this image and think it fits me.  My family is everything to me and my children are so precious to me.  As far as my crafting goes, clean and simple is my style.  I did use a little glitter on the wings and the flowers to accent the picture.  I don't remember where the DP came from.  I relly enjoyed making this card and playing along in the challenge this week.  There is another challenge coming up that has to do with wishes.  Hop on over to the Michelle Perkett PCP group and check it out.

This next card is made using Michelle's Poinsettia Fairy.  I just love this image and had it in my mind that I would buy her when I first saw her on Michelle's blog.  Isn't she just so lovely?  I just couln't resist her.  I used red stampendous jewel glitter on the poinsettias and white stampendous crystal snow glitter on the white part of the wings.  The DP, flower and shiny ribbon are all Making Memories.  The sentiment is Stampin Up.

That's all I have today.  I have been busy lately and will be back with more to share.  Thanks for stopping by today and have a nice day.

P.S. Hop on over to Wendy's Digital Doodling and lets see if we can help her reach 200 followers.  There's a freebie digi in it when she does.  Go check it out.
