Well, I know it's been a busy few days and I haven't been feeling real well. I guess it's that time of year. There's been a lot of distractions, but I have finally manged to get a couple of cards made. One of them is for the Cards for Eric drive that Jennifer McGuire is doing. It is for Eric's sister, Rachael. The other is just a fun Halloween card.
Ok, so first is the card for Rachael. Isn't this a fun image from Soft Pencil. I used my BIC Markits to color the image and them found some cooringating paper from Me and My Bid Ideas. Then I found some ribbon and a cute little button and printed the word "hi" from MS Word and matted it with a piece of the paper. I think it made a cute card for a little girl to make her feel special.
Next, I made this Halloween card using the Michu is Flying stamp from Soft Pencil. They have some great stamps on their site. Again, I used the BIC Markits to color the image. I then matted it with a piece of black cardstock. For the background I matted a piece of DP (I got it from Wal Mart a while back) on some red cardstock. I placed the image on top and adhered the whole thing to the card front. What a fun card this will be to share with someone for Halloween.
Well, I'm off to hopefully get some more cards finished. I have a bunch in the starting stages, so with any luck I'll have more to share real soon.
Thanks for taking a peek and have a nice day.
